This Privacy Policy explains how Quedy ("Quedy," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and study platform (the "Service").
Information we collect
- Account information you provide: email address, display name, school, and student year.
- Usage and progress data generated as you study: quiz attempts, scores, XP, streaks, badges, ranks, and similar activity.
- Payment information for subscriptions. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
- Technical data such as device, browser, and basic log information.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide and operate the Service, track your learning progress, process subscriptions, communicate with you, keep the Service secure, and improve our content and features.
Service providers
We share data with vendors that help us run the Service:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Stripe — subscription billing and payments.
- Anthropic — AI features (e.g., the Clinical Rounds simulator). Content you enter during these features may be sent to the AI provider to generate responses.
- Vercel — application hosting.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. The Service does not work properly without them.
Your choices and data retention
You can update your profile in the app at any time. To request access to, or deletion of, your account and associated data, contact us at support@quedy.app. We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal and operational purposes.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for pharmacy students and other adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
Educational use
Quedy is an educational study tool for exam preparation. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment.
